Its that time of the year again where we show off our patriotic spirit by lighting the sky up with brilliant explosions. So here is the rundown of where and when the fireworks show over the lake is going to be.
*All information was from the golakehavasu.com webpage.
Fireworks will approximately start at 9 pm but make sure to get your spot much earlier than that because good viewing spots fill up fast.
Best Viewing Locations
Rotary Park(plenty of free parking, straight view of the fireworks, coolers allowed, no alcohol or pets permitted)
Thompson Bay(via boat*, please anchor both bow and stern due to winds and current, anchor early as Thompson Bay fills up)
Tune in to KNTR 980AM for a live simulcast with music set specifically to the fireworks display.
Significant delays may occur at the boat ramps for retrieval after the fireworks show has ended. ALL WATERCRAFT, INCLUDING PWCs, MUST HAVE PROPER LIGHTS AT NIGHT (violation fines are $205). Please use caution when going through the Bridgewater Channel or around the Island at night.
Please leave pets at home. Fireworks are startling to them and can hurt their sensitive ears.More pets are lost during July 4th than any other day of the year.
